[2023-01-25] I’m pleased to announce the new version of Sevilla: 19.3.1. Before downloading and installing I recommend to read the changes below. You can download the new version from here.
New features in Sevilla 19.3.1 include:
- Player lists: Multiple layouts are possible for player lists.
- Player layout: Initial rating and alt rating can be added to the player layout.
- Players: A pop-up menuitem has been added to the player tab to set a default status for a player in all remaining rounds. This is useful e.g. when a player withdraws and all rounds were already created.
- Players: Individuals can now be imported from the individuals tab on the player screen.
- Player import: Players can be sorted on most columns.
- Player import: Supported more encoding for predefined imports. Predefined imports have been added for Chile, Colombia and Mexico.
- Pairings: Custom round robin tables can be created.
- Ranking: Time criterion was added as a tie-breaker.
- Webtool: Standard rankings have been removed.
- Webtool: The generated html has had a facelift, using more <div> elements instead of <table> elements. If you use customized cascading style sheets you should review them!
- Reports: A round report has been added
- Reports: Name card configuration has been changed. If you use custom name card definitions in your “resources.dat” file you should certainly review this in order to comply with the new format.
- Mail: You can add a reply-to address.
- Mail: You can use an external mailer instead of Sevilla’s internal client. This can be useful for users of e.g. Gmail, as Google now requires oauth2 certification.
- Mail: Mail can be send to playing persons in the current round.
- Pictures: Limited support for SVG and WebP images has been included. Support for QOI images has been included.
- General: Windows XP and Windows Vista are no longer officially supported. Sevilla may still work on these platforms though.
- Bug fixes, other changes. See release notes in relnotes.docx for the full list.
